You can find all the ongoing and completed orders in the orders section and select an order to manage individually. An individual orders section lets you edit order status, order fulfilment, handle refunds, and send emails.
You can also check the customer’s order records over time, including their average order value and customer details. It’s all very easy to navigate, and switching between pages is quick and seamless.
How to Complete an Order with EasyCommerce
If you have your inventory, shipping, and payment set up, you can start completing orders with the EasyCommerce plugin. Follow along to learn how to do this.
Step 1: Go to the Orders Section
Log into your WordPress site’s dashboard and navigate to EasyCommerce Store > Orders. From here, you can access all your orders.
Step 2: Select an Order to Manage
Find the order you want to manage and click the eye icon next to it to go to the specific order page.
Step 3: Manage the Order
From here, you can check and update the fulfillment status or order status, refund the payment, and send emails to the customer.
You can either click the edit button next to fulfillment and order status or click the action button on top to update them.
Refund: Enter the refund amount and reason for the refund to start processing the payment from here.
Send Email: Send a notification email to the customer for anything from New Order to On Hold.
Order Status: Change order status from here to keep track of it in the Orders list.
Fulfillment Status: Change fulfillment status to keep track of it in the Orders list.
Managing Inventory with EasyCommerce
There are a few functionalities of EasyCommerce that help you streamline your inventory management. You can find a low stock alert for Product Variations on the dashboard, which you can customize on the individual product page.
Each product variation has an inventory section (on the pricing page) where you can set a low stock limit and the number of products in your inventory. This number will be updated automatically with each order.
Handling Customer Communications
A large part of order management is keeping customers updated on their orders. As mentioned above, you can send emails directly from the individual order page.
Follow the steps below to customize these emails to fit your brand’s image.
Step 1: Customize Heading and Footer
Navigate to EasyCommerce Store > Settings > Emails. From here, you can set the email logo, logo background, heading background, and heading color of all your email notifications.
Step 2: Edit Email Subject and Body
Next to the Header & Footer section, you will find email options for New Order, Pending, Completed, Processing, Cancelled, On Hold, and Refunded.
EasyCommerce has provided a set template for each email subject and body, which you can customize however you like. Remember to enable or disable each email to send them out instantly from the orders page.
Step 3: Cart Recovery Email
EasyCommerce also has an abandoned cart recovery feature, which you can use to remind customers of the items they have left in their cart. You can find this section from the EasyCommerce Dashboard.
Simply click the Remind button to send the cart recovery email to the designated customer.
You can customize this email by going to the EasyCommerce Store > Settings > Cart Recovery. EasyCommerce has provided a set template for the email subject and body, which you can customize to the tone of your brand.
Remember to set a delay timer (which is estimated in minutes) to determine if the cart has been abandoned. Click the Save Settings button to apply the changes.
