Bit Form – Next Step Button

We’ve got something really handy for your multistep forms – the “Next Step” button! If you’re using a multistep form, this little gem will make your life a whole lot easier. It’s designed to effortlessly take you to the next part of the form, ensuring the whole process is a breeze. Give it a try and see how smoothly your forms flow!

To use this button, go to your form builder. On the left side, just scroll down and you’ll see the “Next Step” button right there.

⚙ General Settings

1. Field Key

In Bit Form, every field has a special identifier known as a Field Key. This field key uniquely identifies a field, it also helps to send data via email, PDF, store database, and PHP action hook. These keys are important in Success/Error Messages, WebHooks, Redirect Pages, Email Templates, Workflows, and Integrations.

2. Name

The Name is an HTML equivalent input field’s name, you can customize it easily according to your preferences. You can easily modify it to suit your needs.

A field’s name is like a special label used when you submit a form. For example, let’s say the field name is “button-1-8”. In this case, ‘button’ tells us the type of field it is, ‘1’ refers to the form ID, and ‘8’ means it’s the eight-number field on the form.

3. Size & Position

It typically refers to the dimensions and placement of an input or output field within a user interface. It specifies the width and position, x-position, and w-width of the field on the screen or page.

4. Button text

The Button Text is a configurable option in Bit Form that allows the administrator to set the text that appears on the button within the form. This text serves as a call-to-action for users to submit or perform an action in the form.

Adding Leading and Trailing Icons: In Bit Form, the Leading and Trailing icon choices empower administrators to include a symbol or image either at the start (leading) or the end (trailing) of the Button Text. With Bit Form, you have access to a vast collection of over 10,000 icons from different open-source libraries. Additionally, you can upload a custom icon to match your unique requirements.

5. Helper Text

This option is great for giving visitors more information about what the field is for. You can use it to guide users on what kind of information to enter, any limitations on input, and specific formatting rules.

6. Disabled

The “Disabled” field option is really cool because it prevents people from typing or changing information in a form. This way, you can make sure that the data stays correct and trustworthy. It’s super helpful for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the form.

7. Button Align

We’ve got a neat feature that allows you, as the administrator, to choose where you want the button to appear in your form. It’s super handy for deciding how the button is positioned horizontally in relation to your form’s design. In Bit Form, you have three awesome options for aligning your button: Left, Right, or Center. So go ahead and pick the perfect spot for your button!

8. Text Align

With this awesome feature, you get to decide how the Button Text lines up within the form. It determines the position of the Button Text in relation to the form’s layout. You have three fantastic options for aligning the button text: Left, Right, and Center.

9. Button Type

Types of buttons – Reset, Button & Save Draft

Reset: It allows you to clear all your input and start fresh with an empty form. This not only makes your experience better but also simplifies the whole process.

Button: The “Button” in a form is there to help you send or submit the details you’ve entered. It’s super handy and makes it really easy to send off your information. So go ahead and give it a click when you’re ready to send everything through!

Save Draft: The “Save Draft” button in a form helps users save their work temporarily. This way, if they need to leave or close the form, their entered information is not lost. It’s a handy feature for preventing data loss.

10. Full Width

By turning on this awesome feature, you’ll be able to make a button that stretches across the entire width of your screen.

11. Hidden

With this option, you have the ability to hide the field so that people won’t see it when they view the form on the website.
