Set up of AutomatorWP Integration

To set up the AutomatorWP integration in Bit Form, simply go to the Bit Form plugin and open up the form you want to work on. Then, head to the form settings and look for the integrations section. Click on the plus icon to add a new integration, and search for AutomatorWP from the available options.

Integration Name/Title: Here give the meaningful integration title as per your requirement.

Generate AutomatorWP Webhook

To get your AutomatorWP Webhook, follow these steps:

• Navigate to “AutomatorWP” then go to “Automations“.
• Click on “Add New Automation.”
• Choose the Automation Type; in this case, select “Anonymous.”
• Provide a name for your Automation.
• Click on “Add Trigger.”
• Choose “Webhook” as the trigger.
• Select “Receive data from webhook” and then click on the webhook.
• Your webhook URL will be presented.

Use your Webhook URL:

• Copy the “Webhook URL” and then select “Get Sample.”
• Proceed to the “Bit Form” page.
• Paste the “Webhook URL” into the designated “Link” field.
• Set the “Method” type to “POST.”
• Next, add the “URL Parameter“.
• Click on “Test Webhook.”
• Return to AutomatorWP, confirm the received data, and subsequently click on “Use these fields.”
• Finally, click on “Save.”

To add an Action in AutomatorWP, follow these steps:

• Click on “New User.”
• You have the option to include additional actions by clicking on “Add Action,” if desired.
• Map your fields accordingly.
• Ensure “Username” and “Email“ are filled out as they are mandatory fields.
• Set the action to be taken if the user already exists, which is also mandatory.
• Click on “Save.”
• Finally, click on “Save and Activate.”

Please return to the integrations page in order to save the integration and then click on “Next.“

Once you have configured the desired settings for the integration, click the Save & Finish button to save the integration.

Configuring the conditional logic

Now, let’s set up some conditional logic to trigger the integration for the submitted data. To do this, head over to the conditional logic section. You have the option to create a new conditional logic or use an existing one. Make sure to set the Action behavior to “Always” and check the Integration under Additional Actions. Then, select your desired Integration, in this case, “AutomatorWP“. Once done, just click on Update.

Every integration has a timeline that you can use to check the success or error status of the integration. To see your response, just head over to the Response section in Bit Form, click on your record, and then scroll down. Below your Timeline, click on Show Integration Logs.
