Authorization of ActiveCampaign Integration

To set up the ActiveCampaign integration in Bit Form, simply go to the Bit Form plugin and open up the form you want to work on. Then, head to the form settings and look for the integrations section. Click on the plus icon to add a new integration, and search for ActiveCampaign from the available options.

Integration Name/Title: Here give the meaningful integration title as per your requirement.

Generate Access API URL and Access API Key

To get your ActiveCampaign Access API URL and Access API Key, follow these steps:

• Log in to your ActiveCampaign dashboard.
• Click on the Settings gear icon in the bottom left corner.
• Click on the Developer tab.
• Under the API Access, your URL and Key will be displayed.
• In the integration settings for the third-party application you want to connect to ActiveCampaign, paste your URL and Key into the Access API URL and Access API Key fields.

Once you have successfully entered your ActiveCampaign Access API URL and Access API Key, click “Authorize” to proceed. Once you have successfully authorized your account then click on “Next“.

List: Please select a list from the drop-down option. If you don’t see any lists, simply click on the refresh button.

Tags: Please feel free to select tags from the drop-down menu. You can choose as many tags as you like!

In the integration settings, you will see a “Map Fields” option. This is where you will need to map the fields from your form to the corresponding fields in ActiveCampaign. The “Email” field is the default and required field in ActiveCampaign, so you will need to map your form’s “Email” field to this field in ActiveCampaign. You have the option to map additional fields by clicking on the Plus (+) icon.

Update ActiveCampaign: You can also update previously submitted data by enabling the “Update ActiveCampaign” action. For example, if a user submits data under an email address, and then submits data again under the same email address with new information, the new data will overwrite the old data if the “Update ActiveCampaign” action is enabled.

Integration Save

Once you have configured the desired settings for the integration, click the Save & Finish button to save the integration.

Configuring the conditional logic

Now, let’s set up some conditional logic to trigger the integration for the submitted data. To do this, head over to the conditional logic section. You have the option to create a new conditional logic or use an existing one. Make sure to set the Action behavior to “Always” and check the Integration under Additional Action. Then, select your desired Integration, in this case, “Active Campaign API“. Once done, just click on Update.

Integration Log

Every integration has a timeline that you can use to check the success or error status of the integration. To see your response, just head over to the Response section in Bit Form, click on your record, and then scroll down. Below your Timeline, click on Show Integration Logs.
