Bit form – Theme Customization

Theme customization refers to modifying the appearance and functionality of a pre-designed theme. This can include changing a Form’s color schemetypographylayout, and overall design elements.

There are three types of themes to choose from in Bit Form. Set the theme layout for the form, choosing from either No styleBit Form Default, or Atlassian Theme. You can use the preview option to view how your form will appear with the selected style and then activate it once you are satisfied with its appearance.

Theme Lists

No Style

This theme provides only the basic markup structure for the fields and does not include any additional styles. This option is ideal for users who prefer to customize the appearance of the forms using their styles or for those who want the forms to inherit styles from the page’s theme.
To apply no style theme => Navigate Theme => Apply theme

Bit Form Default

This theme is a refreshed version of the version 1 theme, heavily customized to give your form a more attractive look out of the box.

Atlassian Theme

This theme is based on the Atlassian design system to provide you with a variant of choice for a professional-looking form. More info: Click Here

Customize theme

Theme customize refers to modifying the appearance and functionality of a pre-designed theme. This can include changing a Form’s color scheme, typography, layout, and overall design elements.

Reset Style:​

This option allows you to reset the form style to the default form theme. By choosing this option, any custom styles or modifications applied to the form will be reverted, and the form will adopt the default styling defined by the form theme.

Restore Style:​

The Restore Style feature is designed to help you recover the previously saved styles for the form you are currently working on. You can use this option if you accidentally reset the style and need to retrieve the previously applied styles. However, please note that this restore functionality is specific to the form you are working on and doesn’t apply to previous forms or styles that were not saved.

Accent Color

You can use this option to set the Accent Color on your Form design.

Background color

This option allows you to select the background-color format for your Form.

Font Color

With this option, you can choose the font color format for various elements of your form, such as labels, subtitles, inputs, placeholders, and helper text.

Field Background Color

This option allows you to select the field background-color format for your Form.

Border

With this option, you can select the border style for each input field in your form.

Font Family

With this option, you can choose the font family format for various elements of your form, such as labels, subtitles, inputs, placeholders, and helper text.

  1. By default, the font will inherit from your site theme
  2. You can select a Google font from the derived list via API (1200+ fonts)
  3. You can set custom fonts from the available installed fonts from the system or the site.

Field Sizes

Using this option, you can adjust the size of your form fields, selecting from various size options such as extra small, small, medium, large, and extra large.

Font Size

Using this option, you can customize the font size of your field text and placeholders, which are the default text values appearing in your form fields before users enter their data. Adjusting the font size of these elements can help improve your form’s readability and overall visual appeal, making it easier for users to complete and submit their information.

Label Alignment

This option allows you to adjust the alignment of your form field label, subtitle, and helper text and customize the font size of these elements. This can help ensure that your form is easy to read and understand, with clear labels and descriptive helper text that guide users through the form-filling process.

Direction Right To Left (RTL)

This feature is useful for users who prefer to have their form content displayed in right-to-left format, such as those who use languages like Arabic, Farsi, or Hebrew. It allows them to easily switch their form’s layout to match their preferred language direction.

Add !important rule to all styles

Adding the! important rule to all styles is one way to override conflicting WordPress theme styles in the front end.
