Authorization of MailerLite Integration

To set up the MailerLite integration in Bit Form, simply go to the Bit Form plugin and open up the form you want to work on. Then, head to the form settings and look for the integrations section. Click on the plus icon to add a new integration, and search for MailerLite from the available options.

Integration Name/Title: Here give the meaningful integration title as per your requirement.

Select Version: Choose your version. There are two available options: MailerLite Classic and MailerLite New.

Generate MailerLite API Token

To get the MailerLite Token key, follow these steps:

  • Log in to your MailerLite account.
  • On the left sidebar, click “Integrations.”
  • Locate the “MailerLite API” section and click “Use.”
  • Click “Generate New Token.”
  • Give your token a clear and descriptive name.
  • Make sure the terms and conditions are checked.
  • Click “Create Token.”
  • Copy the displayed API key.

Once you have successfully entered your MailerLite Token key, click “Authorize” to proceed. Once you have successfully authorized your account then click on “Next“.

In the integration settings, you will see a “Map Fields” option. This is where you will need to map the fields from your form to the corresponding fields in MailerLite. The “Email” field is the default field in MailerLite, so you will need to map your form’s “Email” field to this field in MailerLite.

Actions

Group: By enabling Group Action, you can organize your contacts on the MailerLite account. Now select the group from the dropdown option, which you have already created on your MailerLite account.

Type: By enabling the Type action, you can specify the contact type on your MailerLite account.

Double Opt-in: By enabling the Double-Opt-in action admin can ask permission from users if they want to subscribe to MailerLite or not.

Update Subscriber: If the user already exists on your MailerLite account, It will update the contacts with other field information based on the email address.

Integration Save

Once you have configured the desired settings for the integration, click the Save & Finish button to save the integration.

Configuring the conditional logic

Now, let’s set up some conditional logic to trigger the integration for the submitted data. To do this, head over to the conditional logic section. You have the option to create a new conditional logic or use an existing one. Make sure to set the Action behavior to “Always” and check the Integration under Additional Actions. Then, select your desired Integration, in this case, “MailerLite“. Once done, just click on Update.

Integration Log

Every integration has a timeline that you can use to check the success or error status of the integration. To see your response, just head over to the Response section in Bit Form, click on your record, and then scroll down. Below your Timeline, click on Show Integration Logs.
