Bit Form Integration With Twilio

Twilio is Cloud-communication for SMS, voice, and messaging apps. Twilio SMS Notification is an extensive feature-based Integration that provides a flexible platform to communicate with users or customers. Go through the documentation about the Twilio integration process.

Authorization Process

1. At first, select the form you want to apply the Twilio integration. If you don’t have any then create a new one from Create Form. After that, follow the below instructions. Follow the path:

Settings => Integrations => Click on (+) => Click on ‘Twilio’.

2. Integration Name: Set the proper integration name. Default it’s taken Twilio.

Integration Settings

1. After that, you have to copy the Account SID, Auth Token, and (Phone Number) from your Twilio account & paste into the field.
To get the Account SID, Auth Token, and from (Phone Number),

  • click on Twilio Console or go to your Twilio console dashboard
  • click on Account => API Keys & Tokens
  • Now copy the Account SID, and Auth Token and paste it into the integration’s dashboard.
  • Enter your Twilio phone number From the (Phone Number) field
  • Click on “Authorize” button

2. Click on Next to set up the other integration settings ahead.

3. After completing the authorization process, you will find the Map Field option. You have to map To (Phone Number), and Message fields with the related Twilio field. Now, click on the Next button to move forward for further settings.

If your Twilio account is free, you must verify the receiver’s phone number. Otherwise, the integration will not work. Click to verify the receiver’s phone number.

4. Save the integration by clicking the Finish & Save Button. The Twilio integration is ready.

5. Now, you have to set conditional logic to trigger the integration for the submitted data. When you set conditional logic, remember some points – set Action behavior = Always & specify the integration name you have created for Twilio. If you don’t select the integration name properly, then the integration will not work.

6. Now, whenever a user submits the form it will be added to the corresponding Contact list of Twilio. Also can view from form responses of Bit Form.

7. You can view every successful API of the submitted data from the timeline of related info.
