HubSpot Integration: What is HubSpot? HubSpot is a customer platform with all the software, integrations, and resources you need to connect your marketing, sales, and customer service. HubSpot’s connected platform enables you to grow your business faster by focusing on what matters most: your customers.

Authorization of HubSpot Integration

To set up the HubSpot integration in Bit Form, simply go to the Bit Form plugin and open up the form you want to work on. Then, head to the form settings and look for the integrations section. Click on the plus icon to add a new integration, and search for HubSpot  from the available options.

Integration Name/Title: Here give the meaningful integration title as per your requirement.

Generate HubSpot API Key

To get your HubSpot API Key, follow these steps:

  • Access your HubSpot account.
  • Click on the “Profile Icon” located at the top right corner, then select “Profile and Preferences.”
  • Within the “Account Setup” section, navigate to “Integrations” and click on “Private apps.”
  • Select “Create private apps” once in the Private apps section.
  • Provide a name for your app.
  • Proceed to the “Scopes” section and click on “CRM.”
  • Grant all the necessary “READ” and “WRITE” permissions.
  • Click the “Create App” button then click on the “Continue Creating” button.
  • To reveal your private app key, click on the “Show” button.
  • Copy your “Private Key“.
  • Paste the copied “Private Key” into the integration “API Key” field.

Once you have successfully entered your HubSpot API Key, click “Authorize” to proceed. Once you have successfully authorized your account then click on “Next“.

Integration Settings for Contact Create

Select Action: Select an option from the drop-down list. For Example: “Create Contact

In the integration settings, you will see a “Map Fields” option. This is where you will need to map the fields from your form to the corresponding fields in HubSpot. The “Email” field is the default and required field in HubSpot, so you will need to map your form’s “Email” field to this field in HubSpot. You have the option to map additional fields by clicking on the Plus (+) icon.

Integration Settings for Deal Create

After completing the authorization process, Select the Action from the drop-down option Deal Create. Then select the Pipeline (sales pipeline), from the drop-down option and select the stage from the drop-down option of your choice.

In the integration settings, you will see a “Map Fields” option. This is where you will need to map the fields from your form to the corresponding fields in HubSpot. The “Deal Name” field is the default and required field in HubSpot, so you will need to map your form’s “Deal Name” field to this field in HubSpot. You have the option to map additional fields by clicking on the Plus (+) icon.

Integration Settings for Ticket Create

After completing the authorization process, Select the Action from the drop-down option Ticket Create. Then select the Pipeline (Support pipeline), from the drop-down option and select the stage from the drop-down option of your choice.

In the integration settings, you will see a “Map Fields” option. This is where you will need to map the fields from your form to the corresponding fields in HubSpot. The “Ticket Name” field is the default and required field in HubSpot, so you will need to map your form’s “Ticket Name” field to this field in HubSpot. You have the option to map additional fields by clicking on the Plus (+) icon.

Action

Contact Owner: Select this option you can set a Contact owner of the sent record. Select Contact Owner from the drop-down option of your choices.

Lifecycle Stage: You select the Lifecycle Stage (Subscriber, Lead, Marketing Qualified Lead, Sales Qualified Lead, Opportunity, Evangelist, Other, Customer) from actions.

Lead Status: You select the Lead status (Open, New In, Progress, Open Deal, Unqualified, Attempted to contact, Connected, Bad timing) from actions.

Contacts:  You can associate deals with your contacts. Select a contact from the drop-down option of your choice.

Company: You can associate deals with your company. Select a company from the drop-down option of your choice.

Deal Type: Deal types allow you to categorize your deals. Select deal types from the drop-down option of your choice.

Priority: By enabling this option, you can set the priority for every ticket. Select priority from the drop-down option of your choices.

Integration Save

Once you have configured the desired settings for the integration, click the Save & Finish button to save the integration.

Configuring the conditional logic

Now, let’s set up some conditional logic to trigger the integration for the submitted data. To do this, head over to the conditional logic section. You have the option to create a new conditional logic or use an existing one. Make sure to set the Action behavior to “Always” and check the Integration under Additional Actions. Then, select your desired Integration, in this case, “HubSpot“. Once done, just click on Update.

Integration Log

Every integration has a timeline that you can use to check the success or error status of the integration. To see your response, just head over to the Response section in Bit Form, click on your record, and then scroll down. Below your Timeline, click on Show Integration Logs.
